Is Violence Ever Justified

‘’Violence Is the Last Refuge of the Incompetent’’

            Violence should happen with everyone or anywhere. It is one of the most popular words in our society. We saw many people be in this situation already. It happens between husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend or anyone. It also happens to the children.

               It a dangerous thing in my view. I think violence isn’t justified but in some situations it can be justified. I said violence isn’t justified because people may be depressed or they may commit suicide. It can be justified because of family problems like between a husband and wife and maybe because of jealousy.

              We recently saw a video of Rihanna, a famous singer and an American actress. This violence also happened to her by her boyfriend. It happened to her because of jealousy. He beat her very badly. In some situations it can be justified.  But generally it is bad and some people try to avoid the violence.

Wedding Celebration

                   ‘’Wedding’’ The most important word in my country. It is the ceremony in which two people will be together for their whole life. It sounds good and happy when we hear the word wedding.  Wedding is the greatest celebration. Everybody feels happy when they hear somebody is getting married.

                       In my country, People believe that marriage is the very most important thing above any other. I believe it too. Wedding celebrations in my country are very fantastic. Many people involved in the wedding, they enjoy it properly. It is very interesting and wonderful.

                     The wedding celebrations of my country are almost like Indian weddings. They have engagement rings, money, flowers, and many other things. There prepare many types of delicious food in the wedding. People bring lots of gifts or presents to give to the groom and bride. The people who are getting married wear beautiful clothes. They both look cool.

                    In the wedding celebration there are lots of things to do for the new couples. We call that all ‘’rasham’’, after they do all that, they will be called the couple forever. All the people are very happy and they wear new clothes. They decorate the wedding house very beautifully.

                     Wedding celebrations are great and fantastic. The most enjoyable movement for me is in the wedding. People say that god made the life partner for everyone. I think that’s true because most of the people do get married with the person who they never knew and they live their life happily. I really like wedding celebrations.     

My Scary Story

              This is the Halloween celebration. People of United State celebrate this festival nicely. It was also the celebration of sacry. People use to decorate their house very beautifully. They also put the scary things like; dolls and toys over the window. I actually, don't really very know about this Halloweencelebrate but I know littel beat of this. Now I am going to write the scary story that I ever get very scared in my life. It was very scary.
           It was the month of February, at 12:30 at noon. I made some special food for my family, they all are not at home because they went to market to do shopping for me and my brother. I was alone at home, when I finished cooking food, I went outside to get relax. At that time I was looking at something in deeply. One of my neighbor came towards me, I used to called him uncle, I don't even know he was near me. Suddenly, he shouted and show me the scary mask. I was scream very loud.
                  I felt like I was fent and lay on groung. Everybody from my neighbored came to the place where I and my uncle. Everybody was asking me, what happen? I don't have any idea what to say. I was like nervous. My one neighbor women ran to the home and she bring some water for me. I drank water and I saw everybody was around me. That was very bad happen to me. A uncle that scared me say ''sorry'' to me. I walked to my home and I didn't do anything.
                 After one or two hours later, my parents were came to the home. I was laying on the bed, I get  to much fever and headeach. They ask me ''what happen''? and I told tham everything, they get nervous. I ate medicine. I don't even talk to anyone, I was just sleeping. I got a fever for five days, I don't like to eat and drink anything. I didn't went to school for five days, I missed everything that my teacher taughtat school. That day was very bad day for me.


                 

                

               

About Me

              My name is Poonam Ghimire. I am a student at Furness High school, I am in ten grade. Besides begin a student I am someone's sister. I was born in Nepal and at the age of 13 I moved to the United States with my family. I have four members in my family, my brother, my parents, and me.

             Our own country is Bhutan. It is near India. My parents moved from Bhutan 20 years ago. They  left it because it was too hard to live there. The people from other religions hates our religion. They used to burn our houses or take children with them. I never saw that, but my parents told me the long story. My family moved to Nepal then, and one year later my brother was born. Then, I was born 4 years laterafter that. I am the youngest child of my family.

             When I was six years old I went to school. I was a little quiet person. We lived in a small town. There were too many people from our own country. We lived in the town called Damak but It was perfect. We  lived their like a big family. I went to school in Damak for two years. Then, my father took me to the another school. I went to the next town called Janakpur, in Bal Niketan School up to six grade.

            After I finished six grade. I moved to Damak again. I went to school there for seven grade. When I started to study in eight grade, I moved to United States. Now, I am in ten grade. I have been here for two years. My life is good in America, but I still miss my town, my country.
